As 2025 marks the conclusion of the State-Owned Enterprise Reform and Enhancement Initiative, Guofeng New Materials has comprehensively promoted lean management as a core strategy, achieving deep-level transformation in its thin-film workshops. In the first half of the year, the company completed 616 lean improvement projects and received 489 employee rationalization proposals, with a closure rate of 70.5%. The "Daily Improvement" initiative has been widely adopted among teams, demonstrating strong mid-year results.

Building on the "3S" framework, the company enhanced the "Visual Management Manual" and "6S Promotion Manual," reinforcing standardized management. Through specialized activities, mid-to-senior managers conducted evaluations and inspections across 162 areas in six workshops, achieving a 96% pass rate. Multiple workshops met the stringent "Tour-Ready Site" standards, becoming lean management benchmarks. Over 4,400 6S issues were identified and resolved at a 92.5% rate, with 200 improvement reports submitted, significantly enhancing on-site management and production efficiency.

In equipment management, all six workshops passed the TPM Phase II assessment. Autonomous maintenance mechanisms were optimized, and specialized maintenance activities yielded substantial outcomes. Ninety-two simple maintenance tasks were successfully transferred to production staff, forming standardized maintenance lists. Equipment reliability improved markedly, with failures decreasing by 21.6% year-on-year, ensuring stable operational performance.

Team building, as the frontline of lean management, achieved notable results. The company systematically conducted the "Team Leader Training Camp," training 59 participants with a 95.1% pass rate. Daily management was further standardized through the implementation of monthly KPI tracking and nearly 100 morning meeting and workflow evaluations. Knowledge management efforts gathered 159 one-point lessons and delivered 307 training sessions, effectively enhancing frontline capabilities.

The lean management achievements in the thin-film workshops highlight Guofeng New Materials' commitment to innovation-driven development and efficiency through management. The company will continue to deepen lean practices, strengthening its core competitiveness for high-quality growth.
